Dr. Griffin attended medical school at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Alabama. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia. Prior to completing his fellowship in Allergy and Immunology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, he was employed as a hospitalist in Augusta. He then returned to the CSRA, joining Augusta-Aiken ENT & Allergy to continue his career of service to patients with allergic disease. He is a veteran of both the U.S. Navy and U.S. Army, serving as both an enlisted member and as a commissioned officer. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine as well as the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
Dr. Griffin lives in Appling, Georgia with his wife and four children. He enjoys playing music, cooking, and homesteading. He is actively involved in regional and national Allergy\/Immunology organizations, including the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
