Dr. Bonitatibus attended Evans High School in Evans, GA. She graduated from Georgia Tech, where she was a presidential scholar with a degree in chemical engineering.
She attended medical school at UAB (University of Alabama at Birmingham). Dr. Bonitatibus returned to the Augusta area to complete her pediatric training and her allergy and clinical immunology fellowship.
She was briefly on the faculty at the Medical College of Georgia in the Department of Pediatrics and worked as a Pediatric Hospitalist for Pediatric Gastroenterology and Pulmonogy.
Dr. Bonitatibus is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
Her special interests include allergies, sinus problems, hay fever, asthma, pediatric asthma, insect allergy, eosinophilic esophagitis, food allergies and atopic dermatitis.
