Dr. Johnson graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Microbiology and again earning his Doctor of Pharmacy. In medical school he was nominated to the medical honors society, AOA, as an early inductee. He completed his residency in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at Augusta University. During residency, he developed a love for facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and sought out opportunities within the University as well as with local private practice facial plastic surgeons. His hard work paid off and he was rewarded with a spot in the prestigious facial plastics fellowship with Dr. Tom Wang and Dr. Myriam Loyo in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Johnson has now returned to Augusta to continue his career as a member of Augusta – Aiken ENT & Allergy. After successfully passing his boards in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery and facial plastics, he looks forward to starting as an otolaryngologist while growing the facial plastics brand of Aesthetics at Augusta ENT. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. In his downtime he likes cooking, reading, outdoor activities, and going to the beach with his family.
