R Glen Owen Jr, MD, FACS, graduated from the University of Georgia and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his Internship in General Surgery and Residency in Otolaryngology at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed a Fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Miami and holds a current certification by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is experienced with minimally-invasive balloon sinuplasty. Dr Owen serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology/Surgery at Georgia Regents Health System. He has been in private practice in Augusta for over 16 years. He actively participates in various local organizations and societies, including the Historical Society and the Gertrude Herbert Institute of Art. Dr Owen lives in Augusta with his wife and three children.
