Dr. Patrick McMenamin performed his surgical training at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institution in Baltimore, Maryland. He is board certified in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery. He has completed a Fellowship in Facial Plastic Surgery and is board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Additionally, he is a Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery.
After serving in faculty positions at Johns Hopkins, David Grant, and the University of California, Davis, Medical Centers, Dr. McMenamin entered private practice in Sacramento in 1990. He has become a national leader in the field of cosmetic surgery, serving as President of the California Academy of Cosmetic Surgery and the American Society of Cosmetic Breast Surgery. He has also served as a Trustee of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery, and was the 2009 President-elect of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, an international organization headquartered in Chicago, which promotes, supports, develops and encourages the science, art and practice of cosmetic surgery. It is the only academy devoted exclusively to the practice of cosmetic surgery.
He relocated to Aiken, SC and is a proud member of the Aiken ENT team.
