Born and raised in Texas, Dr. Walton graduated summa cum laude from Brigham Young University before attending the University of Texas Medical Branch, where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into both the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He went on to complete his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Madigan Army Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington.
Dr. Walton served with distinction as an Army head and neck surgeon, earning multiple honors—including two Meritorious Service Medals—prior to his honorable discharge in 2025. His military service brought him and his family to Georgia, where they have chosen to make their permanent home.
A devoted husband and father of five, Dr. Walton enjoys biking, hiking and exploring the outdoors with his family. He is extensively trained in the full range of ear, nose and throat conditions and is dedicated to delivering skilled, compassionate care to patients across the CSRA.
